So I was beyond excited for CrossFit tonight, because Wednesdays at my gym are strictly strength for the non-competitor folk, and tonight was FRONT SQUATS. I love them. So hard.
Get to gym, and everyone in the class wants to do the competitors’ WOD (i.e., for our Regionals athletes). Ugh. Do not like. Scaling everything doesn’t bother me, I just reallyyyyyy wanted dem front squats, ya dig?

40x HSPU (lolol - we were supposed to scale this to 10x 10 second holds, but I had never done a handstand before today… that’s real. I stuck with attempts.)

I got a few handstands (with a spotter, because OMGSH SO SCARY [I do not like inversion… I am not Darcy]), and everything else was just straight work.
No shame in my game. Except I got my period (while wearing my light grey shorts) during the first set of single unders (lololol @ my life), my calves feel like they’re going to fall off of my legs, and the rest of my body is just tiiired.
I would like to call shenanigans on this workout and go back to this past weekend to siesta in my goblin cave again.
