Anyway, Best CF Bud is just getting over a nasty stomach bug, and as today’s WOD was pretty stomach jarring, reps weren’t quite split in half. I picked up some slack where I could, but even while sick, she’s speedier than I am on the burpees. Damned burpees.

Warmup
0.75 mile run. Untimed.
Team WOD (while one partner rows, the other partner works on reps. Must finish all reps before moving onto next row)
1000m row
100 kettlebell swings, 1.5 pood (scaled to 1 pood [36#]; me=60 reps)
1000m row
100 box jumps, 24” (scaled to 20”; me=60 reps)
1000m row
100 thrusters, 95# (scaled to 45#; me=50 reps)
1000m row
100 burpee pull-ups (me=48 reps)

Cooldown
0.75 mile run. Untimed.

She was first to row every round, so I was always first to work on reps.
It was nasty, but it was so good.
I busted out 60 unbroken KB swings. GANGSTA. First 30 box jumps were also unbroken. SWEET. Thrusters were awful (AWFUL). So much hate. Managed 15 unbroken before I had to break it down to sets of 5. Burpee pull-ups were just slow, so I only managed 8 unbroken before we switched on/off the rower, but the second set I got 10. Interesting that the only set that was “to exhaustion” or whatever was the thrusters. I could have kept going on everything else, but she’s a speedy rower.
And dare I say: I may actually (kind of?) like burpee pull-ups.
