Accountability.
I was supposed to run 9 miles yesterday, and I skipped it, for whatever reason or combination of reasons. Doesn’t matter, all that matters is that I skipped it.
I ran a frakkin’ MARATHON last Sunday. Why am I scared of 9 this weekend?
Ah, well. Running has been, and always will be, totally mental for me. Well, not totally. But mostly.
The brain may have won out yesterday, but the heart will win out today.
I’m all dressed up, and there’s only one place to go: THE ROAD.
